A 57-bed community hospital, located in the central midwest just outside of a major metropolitan area, has an immediate need for an Interim Director/Consultant for Utilization Review. This is an opportunity that potentially could be remote. The hospital is essentially re-building their UR department (all new staff being hired) and they would like an expert to train and teach them the proper way. This department has a new internal director (Is Quality/Risk Director) and she is concerned in the past they have left money on the table. She would like the interim to work alongside her in establishing new processes & procedures.

The engagement is anticipated to be 6-12 weeks, and they are very open to a flexible arrangement, even potentially remote.
