Morgan Hunter HealthSearch has an immediate opportunity for an Surgical Services Consultant with a 103-bed hospital located in the central Midwest. This non-profit, community hospital features seven main OR's and five procedure rooms. They have a strong ortho program, four general surgeons and a cath lab that does minor interventions. The primary objective for engaging a consultant is to assist and mentor the current directors (one over sterile & OR and the other over pre and post) as they implement a new spine surgery service line. A secondary objective is to improve throughput and efficiencies. The assignment is anticipated to last three to four months.

The successful candidate should have prior interim leadership/consulting experience, as well as specific experience with a spine service line.
