About the Firm:
A non-for-profit in the infrastructure community helping the local Towns in Cnd. with revitalization projects.
Finance Lead including but not restricted to:
- Overseeing financial management as the current Finance Lead transitions out of CUI
- Review accounting workflows and provide recommendations for improved reporting and segregation of individual programs finances and accountability
- Design, prepare and update the Cash Flow Reporting to ensure short- and medium-term liquidity and reflect anticipated future needs
- Assist in preparation of the annual budget for board approval.
- Review the financial records for each Quarter prepare for the audit by reviewing the financial statements
- Assist with funding proposals and reporting compliance(e.g.FedDev)
- Assist in preparation of credit applications as required
- Providing advice on resourcing the financial and administrative management functions to meet CUI’s current and future needs, including the assessment of administrative needs, potential use of contractors, freelancers, outsourcing and other scalable fiscal management solutions.
- Providing advice to the President and Chief Executive Officer (Mary) on organizational restructuring over the next few months, as the organization determines the appropriate infrastructure level.
- Ensure the Finance Manager provides proper oversight of the contract bookkeeping service, ensuring timely and accurate payroll, data input and financial reporting preparation
- CPA designated of any kind
- Adaptable and efficient. Able to work 16hrs a week for an extended period of time remotely
- Great hands-on approach not a person that only is willing to oversea the weekly tasks
- Sense of urgency in their approach to Board reporting and Funders a like
- A high level excel user
- Excellent communication ability
