Magellan Aerospace, Llay Wrexham has an exciting opportunity for a Supply Chain Scheduler - Inter Company

  • Full Time Permanent Contract
  • 39 hours per week.
  • Job location: Llay, Wrexham, LL12 0PB.
  • Unionised site – works in partnership with Unite the Union.

The Intercompany Scheduler is responsible for working with the Intercompany Lead, to ensure the smooth running of the day-to-day business. Working with internal stakeholders (intercompany), Production control and Supply Chain teams to ensure products (including raw material and special processing) are delivered on time to the agreed system price and quality requirements.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Order book management
  • Shortage report communication into production planners
  • Exception message collaboration & investigation
  • NBI reports
  • Maintenance of accurate data – pricing lead times, preferred suppliers
  • Responsible from demand signal to receipt
  • Check requisitions to ensure correct supplier, nominal code and quotations
  • Goods & Services on time delivery – manage and expedite to required lead-times
  • Support data gathering and analysis for key meetings – Business Reviews, Rate readiness and Weekly Management meeting
  • Attend daily operational meetings to provide updates from the supply chain and implement daily actions

Position Requirements

Academic:

  • Basic Education 5 GCSE grade C/5 or above

Experience:

  • Supply Chain Experience
  • Manufacturing Environment
