Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead patent and trademark litigation efforts effectively, ensuring robust case strategies and outcomes.
- Work closely with senior partners to handle complex dispute resolutions related to intellectual property.
- Provide exceptional litigation support and preparation for a diverse array of client needs in engineering and computer science contexts.
- Develop and mentor teams by fostering an environment of collaboration and professional growth.
- Maintain acute attention to detail in drafting and managing legal documents and correspondences.
- Uphold stringent deadlines, ensuring efficient and effective case management.
Minimum Position Qualifications:
- Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school and an active member of the Florida Bar.
- 8-12 years of profound experience in patent and trademark litigation within a law firm setting.
- Degree in Engineering or Computer Science, or significant litigation experience in these technological sectors.
- Proven track record of handling complex legal disputes with strategic acumen and rigorous analytical skills.
- Capability to bring and manage portable business to support the firm’s growth and diversify its practice areas.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Member of the Patent Bar, with credentials highly regarded in legal circles.
- Exceptional skills in oral advocacy and written communication specific to intellectual property law.
- Previous experience in a leadership role within a law firm environment, managing cases and teams.
