Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • The Integrity Engineer will develop, implement, and maintain fixed equipment mechanical integrity (MI) programs in accordance with OSHA 1910.119, API, and company standards.
  • Support inspection and testing programs for pressure vessels, heat exchangers, piping systems, storage tanks, and other stationary assets.
  • Review inspection data, corrosion monitoring results, and non-destructive examination (NDE) reports to assess equipment condition and remaining life.
  • Perform fitness-for-service (FFS) evaluations, failure analyses, and recommend appropriate repair or replacement strategies.
  • Maintain and update inspection records and equipment data in the plant’s asset integrity management system (AIMS).
  • Develop and maintain inspection plans, corrosion circuits, and risk-based inspection (RBI) analyses to optimize inspection intervals and resources.
  • Relocation provided. Texas residents preferred. $130K-$140K.

Requirements

  • The Integrity Engineer will have a B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, or related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in fixed equipment integrity, inspection, or reliability engineering in a chemical, refining, or petrochemical environment.
  • API 510 (Pressure Vessels), API 570 (Piping), API 653 (Tanks), or NACE Corrosion certifications are pluses.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical integrity programs and regulatory requirements.
  • Proficient in interpreting engineering drawings, inspection reports, and NDE data.
  • Must be legally eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
