Precise Resource, Inc. is a leading privately held Women's Business Enterprise specializing in Executive Search and head-hunting services for Fortune 500 clients across the United States. We have been asked to assist our client in locating an Integration Engineer.
Our client is a powerhouse quietly transforming how banks and credit unions connect with their customers across mobile, in-branch, and online, regardless of their core system. With a client list that includes the top three mobile banking apps in the U.S., this innovator is shaping the future of digital finance.
Their platform? An expansive ecosystem of ready-to-deploy tools and plug-and-play integrations. Their secret sauce? An API-first architecture and robust developer toolkit that lets financial institutions build smarter, move faster, and serve customers better wherever they are.
An Integration Engineer will support the connectivity technologies that enable our Fintech partners to integrate their solutions into our clients platform. Whether it’s SSO, exposed Digital Banking APIs, or JavaScript-based integrations, you’ll be the expert on the technologies and capabilities that power our Fintech ecosystem.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and support new vendor integrations using standard connectivity services.
- Apply software quality best practices to ensure the reliability and testability of integrations.
- Define and maintain repeatable standards and templates for vendor connections to streamline future implementations.
- Review functional and technical documentation to identify integration requirements.
- Conduct test case reviews to ensure scenarios accurately reflect business functionality.
- Lead end-to-end quality assurance efforts for integrations.
- Participate in vendor calls to support scoping, troubleshooting, and technical discussions.
- Drive increased code and test coverage across integration projects.
- Identify and resolve defects during QA, production, and post-release phases.
- Collaborate with other engineers to address defects, performance issues, and reliability concerns.
- Follow Agile methodologies to plan, design, test, and implement deliverables.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
- Experience integrating RESTful APIs for communication between distributed systems.
- Familiarity with Single Sign-On (SSO) technologies, especially SAML and OIDC.
- Web development experience (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX).
- Familiarity with Java and Ruby.
- Basic Unix command-line skills.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to learn complex systems quickly and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
- Strong time management skills and a collaborative mindset.
- Willingness to take ownership and make independent decisions.
