Job Description

Flybridge Staffing is currently seeking an Integration Engineer – EDI & Business Systems to support a growing organization in Palm Beach County, FL. This is a permanent, full-time role offering a hybrid work schedule, combining remote flexibility with onsite collaboration as needed.

The Integration Engineer will be a key contributor to the stability and evolution of the company’s enterprise integration ecosystem. This role is responsible for ensuring reliable, secure, and scalable data exchange across internal platforms, external trading partners, and third-party systems using RESTful APIs and EDI (ANSI X12). The position supports both operational integrations and longer-term initiatives focused on automation, performance, and integration maturity.

Key Responsibilities

Design, implement, and support integrations using RESTful APIs and EDI (ANSI X12)
Maintain consistent and accurate transaction flows across internal systems, partners, and external platforms
Monitor integration performance, troubleshoot issues, and resolve data, mapping, or connectivity failures
Support onboarding of new trading partners and carriers, including setup, testing, and production support
Develop and maintain EDI mappings, transformations, and validation rules
Improve integration, reliability and scalability through automation, monitoring, and process optimization
Collaborate with operations, finance, and technical teams to resolve integration-related issues
Maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and standard operating procedures
Participate in integration planning, enhancements, and post-deployment support

Requirements

3+ years of experience supporting integrations using RESTful APIs and EDI (ANSI X12) in production environments
Strong understanding of EDI standards, protocols, and mapping concepts
Experience in integrating with ERP systems and supporting business process workflows
Familiarity with integration or middleware platforms (iPaaS or managed EDI solutions)
Solid knowledge of REST APIs, JSON/XML, and integration troubleshooting techniques
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
Effective communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
Ability to manage multiple integrations in a fast-paced environment
