Instrumentation Engineer – Make a Measurable Impact in a Global Leader

This is your opportunity to step into a key engineering role with a company leading the charge in nitrogen fertilizers, melamine, and renewable ammonia.

You'll play a pivotal part in supporting three plant units, leading instrumentation initiatives across design, maintenance, and project execution. Expect variety, technical depth, and the chance to influence large-scale CAPEX projects from scoping to delivery.

In this role, you will:

  • Ensure technical integrity and availability of all instrumentation systems

  • Define and lead preventive maintenance strategies and compliance with inspection regulations

  • Scope, justify, and deliver upgrade/replacement projects (CAPEX) independently

  • Troubleshoot complex failures and support second-line maintenance issues

  • Participate in root cause analyses, HAZOP reviews, and MOC committees

  • Drive multidisciplinary instrumentation projects with shifting priorities

What you bring:

  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s in Instrumentation Engineering

  • 5+ years of experience in instrumentation, ideally within the chemical industry

  • Proven expertise in both maintenance and operational environments

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills

  • Fluency in Dutch and English—or a willingness to learn quickly

Benefits:

  • A dynamic international environment with a sustainability-driven mission

  • Full ownership of long-term instrumentation strategy across multiple plant units

  • The chance to shape future processes through CAPEX and improvement projects

  • A culture that values diversity, inclusion, and professional growth

  • Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package
