JOB SUMMARY

SALARY

1st Class: $34/hr
2nd Class: $31.96/hr
3rd Class: $31.37/hr

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Installation, maintenance, and calibration of various instrumentation devices, including valves, analytical instrumentation, level, temperature, pressure, flow devices, and static and continuous weighing systems.
  • Troubleshoot individual devices and understand the impact of each in regard to the process.
  • Perform new installations including fitting instruments, running conduit, wiring panels, reading, and understanding electrical and P&ID blueprints. Perform initial setup procedures.
  • Work in compliance with approved safety policies and procedures. Collaborate effectively with co-workers, engineers, plant management, and external vendors.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Ability to work in full compliance with approved safety policies and procedures.
  • Flexibility to work a rotating shift schedule including holidays, weekends, and overtime as needed.
  • Excellent team player and communicator.
  • Physical capability to lift 75 lbs., stand up to 10 hours a day, reach with hands and arms, stoop, squat, bend at the waist, kneel, climb stairs, and move equipment as needed.
  • Comfortability in year-around outdoor temperatures, in loud conditions, and working around moving mechanical equipment.
