Location: Home office based in the NJ or DE area

In This Role You Will:

  • Achieve or exceed sales budget for assigned products in the specified territory
  • Establish self as a trusted, inspiring leader by analyzing customer problems, mastering product & application knowledge, and differentiating our client from the competition
  • Build trust with customers and colleagues and maintain the highest level of integrity while building long-term relationships
  • Develop, coordinate and execute a strategic territory plan to include the methodology needed to achieve sales growth including all sales and related activities
  • Cover multi-state territory, up to 50% travel

Ideal Skills/Knowledge:

  • B.S., M.S. or Ph.D in Chemistry, Engineering or a related STEM degree
  • 3 or more years of sales experience, ideally selling scientific instruments to labs and/or process manufacturing
  • Experience managing the full sales cycle independently.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; strong public speaking skills
  • Knowledge of process analytical instruments, such as spectroscopy, is a plus
