Installation Lead
The Interiors Division Installation Lead position assists in planning, organizing, and monitoring storage ensuring a smooth and consistent operation so products and supplies are located and distributed to proper customers in an effective and efficient manner as needed to satisfy internal and external customer requirements. Effectively managing and installing all products according to plan as instructed in an efficient manner while maintaining a high level of quality and job satisfaction. The position assists in the receiving, storage and distribution of product and may supervise installers and warehouse staff on small installation jobs.

- Effectively install all products according to plan as instructed in an efficient manner while maintaining a high level of quality and job satisfaction.
- Effectively communicate with sales reps and interiors division staff to ensure both internal and customer tasks can be accomplished timely and effectively.
- Assist shipping and receiving, unloading trucks, checking in merchandise, matching purchase orders to sales orders and distributing to sales associates for processing.
- Read customer orders, work orders, shipping orders or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered or distributed and/or shipped.
- Move materials and items from receiving or storage areas to shipping or to other designated areas in preparation for installation organization.
- Adhere to all safety and installation policies and procedures.
- Ensures all written paperwork is complete, timely and accurate.
- Experience with hand tools and power tools. Ability to use hand tools including drills.
- Ensure customer concerns are resolved quickly and effectively. Prevent damage to equipment and furniture by following recommended guidelines.
- Assist in counting of physical product being stored or moved.
- Drive company vehicle and maintain clean driving record.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Ability to adjust the work schedule to complete projects during non-business hours as necessary.

Supervisory Responsibility
This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment
This position works in a variety of environments including the Interiors Division Warehouse location as well as assembling and moving furniture in customer offices/buildings and in buildings under construction. This position is often expected to travel to customer sites located throughout the state. This role routinely uses standard office and warehouse equipment to complete job duties.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days vary, but generally range, Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 6 p.m. and are dependent on the customer need, but should be 40 hours with occasional overtime, especially during peak seasons.
Travel
Daily travel throughout the region or state. Minimal overnight travel is expected for this position.
Required Education and Experience
- High school diploma or GED.
Preferred Education and Experience
- 1 year of experience in installations, receiving, and delivery
- Experience in construction or facilities maintenance is a benefit with good use of hand tools.
