Job Summary: The Inside Technical Sales Support professional plays a crucial role in supporting the sales team and ensuring customer satisfaction. This position requires a blend of technical knowledge and sales skills to effectively assist clients, provide product information, and resolve inquiries. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of our products and services and the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Support:
- Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, or teams.
- Provide detailed product information and specifications.
- Assist customers in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
- Sales Support:
- Collaborate with the sales team to identify customer needs and develop solutions.
- Produce and present test reports and data to prove out proposed solutions.
- Prepare and deliver product demonstrations and presentations.
- Assist in creating sales proposals, quotes, and order processing.
- Technical Expertise:
- Maintain a deep understanding of product features, benefits, and applications.
- Stay updated on industry trends and competitive products.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with engineering, product management, and marketing teams to ensure alignment on product offerings and customer needs.
- Provide feedback from customers to help improve products and services.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions in CRM systems.
- Prepare regular reports on customer feedback and sales performance.
Qualifications:
- Strong technical aptitude and the ability to learn complex products quickly.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Minimum 2-year education in a technical field or 2-year experience in a technical field
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in electrical, mechanical and computer technology
- Understanding of sales processes and customer relationship management.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
