Inside Sales

The Inside Sales Representative will focus on generating and growing inbound sales activity by engaging existing accounts, reactivating dormant customers, and collaborating with external sales partners to drive orders. This individual will play a critical role in fueling the organization’s national distribution footprint, with support from quoting and technical teams to minimize administrative overhead. The ideal candidate is a natural hunter—a high-energy sales pro who thrives on closing deals and exceeding targets.

Focus:

  • Engage current and former distributor accounts via phone and email to drive increased order volume.
  • Support and grow relationships with independent sales agent partners to ensure aligned sales execution.
  • Reactivate dormant customer accounts and build new sales opportunities through outbound contact strategies.
  • Meet and exceed activity and conversion goals (including 5+ quality outreach calls per hour).
  • Track interactions and account data using Salesforce CRM to maintain clean, actionable pipelines.
  • Coordinate cross-functional support and issue resolution with internal sales and service teams.
  • Stay updated on product knowledge to educate customers and answer technical questions.
  • Identify upselling opportunities and respond to customer requests with professionalism and urgency.

Skill Set:

  • 2–3+ years of experience in a high-velocity sales role, preferably in inside sales, B2B distribution, or a similar outbound-driven environment.
  • Proven track record of quota attainment and commission-based motivation.
  • Strong phone presence, persuasive communication skills, and a proactive sales mentality.
  • Comfortable navigating CRM platforms (Salesforce preferred) and managing multiple account touchpoints.
  • Industry experience in lighting, electrical, building products, or similar markets is a plus—but not required. Retail or service sales professionals with strong outbound experience are encouraged to apply.
  • Energetic, self-starter attitude with a focus on continuous improvement and team collaboration.
