Position Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Inside Sales Manager of a premier global manufacturing organization that supplies an extensive array of superior fluid sealing products to nearly every sector of industry, with over 50 production, engineering, distribution, and customer support sites across the UK, Continental Europe, Australia, South Africa, New Zealand, Southeast Asia, and the United States. A network of affiliated companies and distributors supplies our products and services to more than 100 countries.
The primary purpose of the role is to work as part of a focused and successful sales team, exceeding sales targets and key performance indicators set out in the business’ objectives. Though the use of a range of communication methods – primarily phone, email, and social media, the ISR will build strong customer relationships to understand individual customers’ business needs, addressing issues, and following up on sales opportunities. The ISR will also provide internal commercial support to the field sales team to ensure customer expectations are satisfied and service levels are exceeded.

Background Required:
  • Successful track record developing profitable sales and customers from an internal sales role
  • Shown to possess a strong commercial acumen
  • Proven capability of working in a self-driven environment
  • Lead generation and new business prospect development
  • Proactively contact existing customer base to increase share
  • Ability to negotiate

  • Computer literate: Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, & Outlook
  • Education: Four-year degree or equivalent experience
  • Location: Glenwood, IL (relocation assistance within the Chicagoland area available)
