As the Inside Sales Rep you will provide administrative support and customer service in the sales department, including:
- Coordinating with outside sales force, production, quality, shipping and mill management to sell and provide customer service that exceeds customer expectations
- Working to accomplish the overall goals and directives established by the Sales Manager and Management team
Qualifications for the position include:
- Prior experience in inside sales, customer service or a similar field
- Willingness for occasional travel
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated integrity, initiative and assertiveness with ability to make decisions and obtain goals
- A positive problem solver with excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
- Motivated self-starter with good organizational and time management skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
Preferred qualifications include:
- Experience in inside sales in the steel business or similar field
- College degree or equivalent experience in related field (Business Administration, Marketing)
- Experience with EBS and Oracle products
