Inside Sales Rep (11103)

Who They Are
We have been retained by an 80-year-old, family-owned building materials distributor in the Chicago area to identify an Inside Sales Rep to join their growing Chicago-area team. As an Inside Sales Representative, you’ll be the voice of the company to our customers. This individual would build and strengthen customer relationships by listening, problem-solving, and delivering value every day, as well as drive sales results by managing inbound and outbound calls, providing quotes, and following up on opportunities. This role offers a competitive base salary plus incentive compensation and bonus!

What You'll Do
  • Develop and grow relationships with customers
  • Plan and execute sales strategies
  • Identify and track residential and commercial projects
  • Work alongside product managers and vendors
  • Participate in local and national trade shows, industry associations, etc.
What You'll Need
  • College degree or relevant work history
  • 3+ years of experience in outside sales
  • Experience with wood and wood products, hardware, and decorative surfaces preferred
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Computer literacy
