Position Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Sales Director of a premier global manufacturing organization that supplies an extensive array of superior fluid sealing products to nearly every sector of industry, with over 50 production, engineering, distribution, and customer support sites across the UK, Continental Europe, Australia, South Africa, New Zealand, Southeast Asia, and the United States. A network of affiliated companies and distributors supplies our products and services to more than 100 countries.
The primary purpose of the role is to work as part of a focused and successful sales team, exceeding sales targets and key performance indicators set out in the business objectives. The ISM will be accountable for driving sales strategy and productivity/results of the inside sales and customer service teams. The ISM will drive the team to generate profitable revenue within a designated customer base and will establish sales strategy with direction from the Director of Sales. The ISM will also be responsible for developing, motivating, coaching, and retaining a high performance inside sales and customer service team.

Background Required:
  • Strong leadership and management experience leading and coaching high performing sales teams (2-6 years, combined with four-year degree)
  • Successful track record developing direct reports and delivering results
  • Collaborative effort to ensure fulfillment of sales goals, profit growth, customer satisfaction, & retention
  • Strategic awareness, with excellent commercial and analytical skills
  • Ability to negotiate
  • Metrics measurements (individual and team SMART objectives, KPI tracking)
  • Proficiency in monitoring prospect mapping, strategic plans, sales growth, gross margin, & pipeline
  • Computer literate: Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, & Outlook
  • Education: Four-year degree (or management equivalent)
  • Location: Glenwood, IL (relocation assistance within the Chicagoland area available)
