Inside Sales Engineer - Industrial Equipment

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop customized quotes and generate detailed proposals based on client requirements.
  • Act as the primary account manager for clients, fostering strong relationships to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales volumes.
  • Collaborate effectively with field sales and territory sales teams to strategize and achieve sales targets.
  • Manage projects throughout the full sales cycle, ensuring smooth progression and timely completion.
  • Interface with all company departments to facilitate the integration of sales strategies and client needs.
  • Perform limited travel to engage with clients and promote business growth, averaging once per quarter.

Minimum Position Qualifications:

  • A BS degree in Engineering, Materials Science, or Business Administration.
  • At least one year of experience in a technical role, preferably within casting, machining, or metals processing industries.
  • Demonstrated project management skills and a proven track record of delivering project success while maintaining strong customer relationships.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
  • Must be proactive, with a keen interest in personal career development and customer engagement.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in job shop environments, particularly with foundry operations or metal casting processes.
  • Advanced understanding of different alloys and their applications in industrial processes.
  • Certifications or experience in standards such as AS9100, ISO 9001, Nadcap, ASNT Levels II & III.
