Position Summary
We are seeking a highly organized, customer-focused Inside Sales Coordinator to join our building supply team. This role plays a critical part in supporting contractors, production customers, builders, and retail customers by accurately processing orders, coordinating special purchases, and delivering exceptional service.

The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, can effectively multitask under pressure, and demonstrates outstanding attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Accurately process sales orders, quotes, and returns in a timely manner for contractors, production customers, builders, and retail clients
  • Coordinate and track special orders with vendors, ensuring accurate pricing, product availability, and delivery timelines
  • Communicate order status, backorders, and delivery updates to customers and contractors
  • Provide exceptional customer service via phone, email, and in person
  • Collaborate with warehouse, purchasing, and outside sales teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment for production accounts and job-site deliveries
  • Resolve customer inquiries, discrepancies, and issues professionally and efficiently
  • Maintain organized and up-to-date customer and order records
  • Assist with inventory inquiries and provide product information to support production schedules and project timelines
  • Support sales initiatives and identify opportunities to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in inside sales, customer service, or the building materials industry preferred
  • Experience working with contractors or production/homebuilder accounts is a plus
  • Strong multitasking skills with the ability to perform effectively under pressure
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • High level of attention to detail and strong organizational abilities
  • Proficiency in order entry systems and Microsoft Office
  • Ability to build positive relationships with customers, contractors, and team members
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic

Compensation & Benefits:
  • Starting base salary of $65,000 annually
