Inpatient Rehab Physical Therapist Neuro Caseload Atlanta GA PSLF Eligible
Nealy Pierce is working with a nonprofit hospital system in the Atlanta, GA area to hire a full-time Physical Therapist (PT) for their Inpatient Rehab (IPR) program. This is a permanent, W-2 role centered on complex neurological rehabilitation in a modern, mentorship-driven hospital environment. New graduate PTs with IPR rotation experience are encouraged to apply alongside experienced IPR clinicians.
What Makes This IPR Role Different:
- Predominantly neurological caseload — stroke, TBI, spinal cord injury (SCI), amputee care, and multi-trauma rehabilitation
- PSLF eligible (Public Service Loan Forgiveness) through nonprofit hospital employer
- Manageable patient volume: 4 to 6 patients daily with 60 to 90 minute sessions
- Approximately 6 contact hours per 8-hour shift — among the lowest productivity expectations in inpatient rehab
- Advanced rehab technology on-site: Litegate, Bioness, and Core Balance (digital)
- Private patient rooms in a recently updated clinical setting
- Interdisciplinary team of experienced PTs, OTs, and SLPs
- Built-in mentorship culture led by senior IPR clinicians
Schedule:
- Flexible morning start times (8 AM – 9 AM)
- Full-time, permanent hospital position
Compensation & Benefits:

Who We're Looking For:
- DPT or MPT from an accredited physical therapy program
- Active or pending applicable state PT license
- Experienced acute care PTs with a relevant inpatient rotation will also be considered
- Clinical precision balanced with big-picture thinking
- Strong communicator across clinical staff, patients, and family members
- Collaborative and team-oriented with a servant-leader mindset
