We connect high-performing professionals with organizations that value people, performance, and growth—helping leaders find roles where they can make an impact and build meaningful careers.
About the Opportunity
We’re partnering with a national manufacturing organization with a long-standing footprint and a strong commitment to operational excellence across multiple U.S. sites. This role sits on a global injection process team and is built for someone who likes being in the mix—on the floor, in the data, and in the problem.
This is a remote role with heavy travel (approximately 70–80%) to manufacturing sites across the U.S. The balance of time is focused on building and scaling best practices—developing maintenance standards, analyzing injection molding metrics, and assessing equipment and site performance to prioritize improvements.
The need is clear: standardizing and elevating injection molding best practices across facilities, supporting performance and reliability, and bringing deeper technical rigor to troubleshooting, maintenance operations, and equipment initiatives. You’ll spend much of your time hands-on in plants across the country, helping teams solve complex challenges, improve consistency, and implement the right upgrades and practices where they matter most.
This is a great fit for a seasoned injection molding expert who enjoys traveling, teaching, and building capability—someone with deep husky experience who can translate technical insight into practical, repeatable improvements.
What You’ll Do
- Provide advanced technical support to U.S. facilities for injection molding manufacturing operations, stepping in when the problem is complex and the stakes are high.
- Travel 70–80% to facilities across the U.S. to support operations, troubleshoot issues, and strengthen site capability.
- Analyze injection molding performance metrics to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities—then turn those insights into standardized best practices across sites.
- Lead process improvement projects and support new equipment installations, bringing structure and clarity from planning through execution.
- Strengthen maintenance operations for injection molding systems and related equipment by improving reliability practices and standardized processes using SAP.
- Train and develop site resources on the technical aspects of injection molding equipment, building confidence and skill through knowledge transfer.
- Explore emerging technologies and implement solutions that improve injection molding operations in measurable ways.
Who You Are
You’re the person others call when the issue isn’t obvious—and you don’t just “fix it,” you explain it, document it, and help prevent it from happening again. You combine deep technical expertise with calm leadership, especially when troubleshooting hydraulic, pneumatic, or electrical challenges under pressure.
You’re comfortable moving between plants, building trust quickly, and helping teams raise the bar without creating friction. Travel energizes you because the work changes, the people change, and the impact is real.
Preferred Experience & Attributes
- 10+ years of experience with Husky injection molding equipment and preform manufacturing.
- Advanced hands-on expertise in injection molding processes, including hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical troubleshooting.
- Experience with injection molding machine installation.
- Process improvement experience, including SOP documentation.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical troubleshooting skills.
- SAP experience strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated success transferring knowledge and developing maintenance skills in others.
- Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.
Why This Role Matters
This position helps determine how well injection molding operations perform—site to site, day to day, and over time. Your work directly supports consistency, reliability, and the standardization of best practices across multiple facilities.
Because this role spans plants and performance data, you’ll have broad visibility and influence. You’ll be the person connecting what’s happening in the equipment to what’s happening in results—then helping teams close the gap with practical improvements, stronger maintenance execution, and smarter approaches to process control.
If you’re at your best when you’re solving, teaching, and improving—this is the kind of platform where your expertise will show up everywhere.
