Process Engineer

Position Purpose:
The Process Engineer is responsible for the continuous improvement of production and operational processes through the analysis, design, optimization, and implementation of technical solutions. The primary goal is to maximize efficiency, reduce costs, ensure product quality, and maintain regulatory compliance, working in close collaboration with various departments across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, analyze, and optimize manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency, quality, and safety.

  • Lead continuous improvement projects using methodologies such as Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Kaizen.

  • Identify bottlenecks in production processes and propose sustainable technical solutions.

  • Document processes through flowcharts, process sheets, work instructions, visual aids, and more.

  • Coordinate pilot tests, process validations, and production scale-ups.

  • Analyze operational data to identify trends, deviations, and improvement opportunities.

  • Collaborate with production, quality, maintenance, and other key areas to implement changes.

  • Evaluate and implement new technologies, automation systems, and equipment.

  • Ensure compliance with internal and external regulations (ISO, TL9000, etc.).

  • Train operational and technical personnel on new or improved processes.

Position Requirements:
Education:

  • Degree in Industrial Engineering.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role within the industrial or manufacturing sector.

  • Proven experience leading process improvement projects and/or implementing new production lines.

Technical Knowledge:

  • Tools and methodologies: Lean, Six Sigma, FMEA, SPC, DOE.

  • Software proficiency: Office Suite, Visio, advanced Excel, Minitab, or other data analysis tools.

  • Knowledge of quality and industrial safety standards.

Languages:

  • Intermediate English. Able to read technical documentation, participate in technical meetings, and write reports or presentations in English.
