Job Description
BCTG’s direct client is looking for an Infrastructure IT PM (can be remote or onsite) Must have 5 years of PM experience minimum. The client is replacing CommVault with Rubrik - don’t need to have prior experience w the software, but must be a strong IT PM. Must be able to start ASAP. Duration is 6 months. Need someone in seat yesterday.
Hiring manager is looking for:
- a strong project manager who can “look around the corner” and anticipate problems.
- active risk and issue management - someone who can drive the project and not just do the administrative project manager work;
- need someone who can help and do deeper dives and drive this project on task! There is a person who is responsible (technical expertise) who will execute the project.
- IT Infrastructure, specifically backup and recovery technology.
- Previous experience with Rubrik nice to have.
- Managing delivery of multiple third-party vendors.
- Understanding of VMware and Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, and SAP HANA database technologies.
- Understanding of Microsoft Azure cloud nice to have.
