Responsibilities for the Infection Preventionist - RN or MLS - Acute Care:

• Lead infection prevention efforts across the hospital
• Conduct data analysis, surveillance, and chart reviews
• Ensure compliance (DNV, TJC, CMS, NHSN, Leapfrog) and provide staff education

Requirements for Infection Preventionist - RN or MLS - Acute Care:

• RN: Associate or Bachelor’s degree in nursing (non-online RN program) OR MLS: Bachelor’s degree in medical laboratory science
• Current MS RN license or BSMT (ASCP) or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years clinical experience in an acute care hospital
• CIC required within two (2) years of hire
