Our client is a 250 bed non-profit academic teaching hospital in Atlanta.  They are the only 5 time magnet community hospital in the world, and focus on bringing the science side and human side together to change the face of health care.  They are one of the leading academic medical systems in GA, looking for an Infection Prevention Coordinator to join their rock star team and hospital.

They are seeking a registered nurse to join the Infection Control department as an infection control coordinator. The infection Prevention coordinator assists in the continuing development, implementation, evaluation and modification of the infection control program. The infection control coordinator also coordinates activities to identify and reduce the risks of acquiring and transmitting infections in assigned focus area(s).

Qualifications:

·        BSN required

·        Minimum of 2 year experience in an acute care Infection Control setting

·        RN License in the State of GA

·        CIC certification Preferred
