They have engaged our firm to help them identify the top available Infection Control/Quality Coordinator available!

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for planning, organizing, implementing, evaluating and directing Health Partnership’s Infection Control Program in accordance with current standards and regulations.
  • Directly responsible for policies, procedures and practices in the area of infection control.
  • Serves as a resource to all departments and personnel; prepares and presents educational offerings for staff as applicable.
  • Consults with patients, patients’ families and personnel regarding infection prevention and control issues and practices.
  • Coordinates with the Clinical Quality Director to plan, organize and lead the organization in quality improvement.
  • Applies, teaches and skillfully uses techniques for quality improvement, outcomes measurement and statistical analysis.
  • Assists with documentation and reporting, internally and externally, of improvement activities as appropriate.
  • Provides leadership for implementing change; has the ability to analyze and present data findings/ reports to hospital and medical staff committees as needed.
  • Demonstrates problem solving, leadership, conflict management and team building skills in order to ensure a productive work environment and achievement of goals.
  • Ability to use independent judgment. Performs under minimal supervision with accountability for specific goals/objectives.
  • Actively attends in-services and educational programs.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in related healthcare field, preferably clinical in nature, with at least three years of healthcare experience.

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum of three (3) years of healthcare experience.

Preferred Skills:

  • Certification in Infection Prevention and/or Registered Nurse license preferred.
