Are you ready to make a lasting impact on patient safety and quality of care? We’re seeking a Manager of Infection Prevention (IP) to lead system-wide initiatives that prevent and control infections, safeguard patients, and drive continuous improvement.

About the Role

Reporting to the Executive Director of Quality Operations, the Manager of Infection Prevention will:

• Lead and manage a team of 2 Infection Preventionists, and coordinate infection prevention programs across the hospital

• Collect, analyze, and trend data to guide prevention strategies

• Develop and review infection prevention policies and procedures

• Partner with clinical and non-clinical leaders to implement best practices

• Chair and organize infection prevention committees

• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and reporting requirements

What We’re Looking For

• Education: Associate or Bachelor’s in Nursing OR Bachelor’s in Medical Laboratory Science (RN must be from a non-online accredited program)

• Experience: Minimum of two (2) years of clinical infection prevention experience in acute care hospital setting

• Certification:

  • Current RN license (MS State Board of Nursing) OR BSMT (ASCP) or equivalent

  • CIC certification required (or ability to obtain within 1 year for the right candidate)

• Strong decision-making, data analysis, and communication skills
