Industrial Piping Estimator — Apex, NC

Our client, a highly respected self-perform general contractor in the water and wastewater treatment plant market, is adding an Industrial Piping Estimator to its preconstruction team in Apex, NC. This is a trade-estimating seat: you will price industrial pipe systems — the process piping scope at the heart of treatment plant construction.

What You'll Do

Prepare complete, competitive estimates for industrial and process piping scopes on water and wastewater treatment plant projects
Perform quantity takeoffs, solicit and evaluate vendor and subcontractor pricing, and build bid packages
Visit project sites as needed (pool vehicles provided) and collaborate with operations on constructability and pricing strategy

What They're Looking For

Hands-on estimating experience with industrial pipe systems — mechanical/process piping for industrial or treatment plant work
A track record of accurate, winning estimates
This is an in-office role in Apex, NC — not remote and not a traveling position; relocation is welcome

Compensation & Benefits

$80,000 – $140,000 base salary, depending on experience and qualifications, plus discretionary bonus eligibility
Four weeks of PTO to start: two weeks vacation, one week sick leave (unused sick time accrues), and one week flexible — with a path to a fifth week after five years
Pool vehicles available for site visits; lead estimators receive a vehicle allowance
