Pay:
$32.86 - $36.86 + shift premiums

Schedule:
The plant operates 24/7. Continental shift (8hr/12hr).

Requirements:
  • A valid 433A required
  • Flexible to work either day or night shift
  • Previous experience working in an automotive plant, Stamping plant or powdered metal plant
Nice to see:

Job responsibilities:
  • Being alert, quick response time and being proactive with any required maintenance
  • Performing the preventive maintenance schedule ensuring all assigned duties are fulfilled.
  • Working safely, complying with the company's safety standards and protocols
  • Being a technical resource for all team members, on the floor, and from the office
  • Maintain active communication between team members and ensuring a smooth "hand-off" takes place after/before a shift
  • Participate in 5 "S" activities
  • Train and coach Jr. and new members of the team
  • Provide feedback and be involved within team meetings to enhance the process
  • Other duties as required

Job responsibilities:
  • Working on all the existing and any new production/Building equipment (and services)
  • Find the root cause of a problem in electrical components, use past experience and qualifications to propose a solution (including but not limited to design modifications)
  • Performing preventative maintenance as required
  • Using a variety of hand tools, testing equipment, and programmable controls
  • Read and analyze various technical documents such as training manuals, drawings, and instructions, electrical schematics, etc.
  • A track record of exceptional attendance and following safety protocols
  • Can communicate freely via written instructions or verbally
  • Remarkable aptitude to examine defective components and take corrective steps
  • Heightened ability to concentrate on the task at hand and attention to details
  • An outgoing personality and willingness to play well within a team dynamic
  • Meeting the physical challenges of positions such as heavy lifting, climbing or working under extreme temperature conditions
