Industrial Millwright Mechanic (Night Shift)

About the Company:

Our client is a premium manufacturer of candy and chocolate products. In operation since 1896 they have grown to become one of the largest candy manufacturing companies in the world.

They are growing at a rapid pace and are currently seeking an industrial millwright to join their team!

Responsibilities:

• Ensure efficient and effective running of maintenance equipment, including troubleshooting and repairing, throughout the plant
• Assist in troubleshooting mechanical breakdowns and problems identified on the line
• Submit maintenance requisition for spare parts as required
• Conduct preventative maintenance and repair, and lubricate machines and equipment
• Diagnose, test and repair mechanical problems in machinery or equipment
• Replace malfunctioning or worn mechanical components
• Developing designing, or creating new applications, ideas, systems or products
• Providing guidance and expert advice to management or other groups on technical systems, or process
• Install or replace meters, regulators, or related measuring or control devices
• Responsible to report Food Safety and Quality problems to personnel with authority to initiate action
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Licensed Millwright (442A) certification
• Previous experience working in a manufacturing facility
• Valid drivers license with clean abstract
• Candidates must be open to working straight night shifts
• Excellent communication and problem solving skills
• Superior time management skills and ability to multi task
