Industrial Mechanic/Millwright
Job Description
Our client, a leader in Tooling and Stamping, has an immediate opportunity for a Industrial Mechanic/Millwright in our Windsor, Ontario Cold Stamping Facility. The Millwright/ Mechanic is responsible for supporting production. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a stamping environment, be self-motivated and thrive in a fast-paced work environment. Summary of Responsibilities:
- Provide maintenance support to all areas of production ensuring both machines and facilities are maintained to operate in a safe and efficient manner
- Strong troubleshoot abilities to diagnose equipment failures routine and non-routine
- Reads blueprints and schematic drawings to determine work procedures
- Perform repairs to machinery and plant support systems with regards to hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical repairs
- Abide by all Company policies including, but not limited to the following: Health and Safety, Environmental, Quality, Human Resources policies, and the Employee Handbook
Minimum Qualifications:
- Stamping equipment i.e. feed line systems experience is an asset
- 3-5 years manufacturing environment working with industrial machinery
- Ability to work rotating shifts (days, afternoons, midnights)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certified Industrial Mechanic Millwright (433A)
