Industrial Maintenance Electrician/Electronics Technician

Location: Kent, WA
Salary Range: $25 - $40 per hour

We are currently seeking experienced Industrial Maintenance Electricians or Electronics Technicians to join our dynamic team. This role is essential in maintaining the operational effectiveness of our manufacturing processes and facilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine and preventive maintenance on industrial electrical and electronic systems, ensuring minimal downtime and efficient operation.
  • Diagnose and repair malfunctions in various types of manufacturing and facility electrical equipment and controls.
  • Install, service, and repair electrical machinery, equipment, and circuits ranging from low to high voltage.
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and manuals to understand equipment and systems.
  • Collaborate with the maintenance team to develop and implement maintenance strategies and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety policies and procedures, including but not limited to lockout/tagout, electrical safe work practices, and NFPA 70E standards.
  • Document maintenance actions, including repairs made, parts used, and time spent, to maintain accurate maintenance records.
  • Assist in updating and maintaining electrical schematics and documentation for equipment and systems.
  • Provide technical support and training to other maintenance personnel and operators as needed.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification or degree in electrical technology or a related field is preferred.
  • Proven experience as an Industrial Maintenance Electrician or Electronics Technician, ideally in a manufacturing environment.
  • Solid understanding of industrial electrical systems, electronic controls, and variable speed drive systems.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical/electronic equipment, including PLCs.
  • Familiarity with industrial communication networks and control systems.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Must be able to stand, bend, stoop, and work in confined spaces for extended periods.
  • Availability to work different shifts, overtime, weekends, and on-call as needed.
