Industrial Engineer

Magellan Aerospace (Tumkur) Private Limited is recruiting an Industrial Engineer with the following Skill sets :-

• Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering and Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certified (Master Black Belt Certification preferred)
• Trained Assessor in Business Excellence Models
• 3 + years of experience in Lean Six Sigma and Business Excellence field
• Should have handled and guided Lean Six Sigma Black belt projects.
• Should have experience in facilitating / executing improvement projects using A3, 6S, Kaizen and 8D Tools.
• Should have good understanding of Business Excellence concepts and should have trained and facilitated or participated in identifying, planning and executing Business Excellence Road Maps and corresponding action plans.
• Must have experience in executing / participating in implementing lean Six Sigma and / or Business Excellence in Manufacturing involving CNC machining.
• Advanced courses in statistical analysis preferred.
• Strong Verbal, written communication skills, Strong interpersonal, leadership and Presentation skills.
• Minitab, MS Project, Excel and PowerPoint skills.

The summary of job description is :-

• Deliver continuous improvement projects with visible and remarkable contributions to division’s financial performance.
• Plan and execute Lean, Six sigma Yellow Belt, Green Belt and Black Belt trainings across the division.
• Facilitate and drive cross functional teams in identifying, planning and executing actions aligned to the criteria requirements of Business Excellence Models using the Lean Six Sigma Methodology as well as other tools such as A3 Problem Solving, 6S, Kaizen and 8D.
• Lead and support analysis of improvement programs and potential results.
• Define strategies in Operational Excellence, problem solving, and implement solutions to improve operational performance by applying the appropriate tools.
• Corporate reporting on division’s operational excellence progress and performance. Act as the interface between the Division and Corporate on all improvement projects
• Participate in and take relevant responsibility for workplace environment, health, and safety.
