Position Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Engineering Manager of a leader in third party logistics services.
Responsible for setting the overall project priorities to deliver value to customer networks. Supports the business model of cultural transformation through the integration of operational excellence principles and its value streams, leading to consistent achievement of results. Leads best practice development and cost reduction activities. Partner with internal and external teams to achieve project results. Track value created across assigned projects. Develop and enforce the measurement of work measurement systems, ensuring they are effective. Ensure efficient warehouse flow through zoning and slotting assessments, profile analysis.

Background Required:
- Third Party Logistics Warehousing/Distribution Industrial Engineering (2-3 years)
- Customer facing role
- Demonstrated ability to effectively analyze data to identify trends, results, and opportunity for improvement
- Ability to align resources to drive lean principals and process improvement
- Implement and Develop measurement systems that drive appropriate action and support business goals
- Workstation design and process configuration – receiving, packing, kitting, VAS
- Zoning/Slotting and Profile Analysis
- Takt Time Methods
- Ability to manage cross functional projects
- Value Streaming Mapping, process mapping
- Waste Analysis
- Statistical Process Control
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt
- Education: Bachelor’s degree (Industrial Engineering or related)
