Industrial Electrician

About the Company:

Our client is a leading provider of battery recycling solutions throughout North America. They are growing their team at a rapid pace and are seeking to add a certified Industrial Electrician to their dynamic organization.

Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, test, troubleshoot and repair electrical equipment and associated electrical and electronic controls
• Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics and electrical code specifications to determine layout of industrial electrical equipment installations
• Install, examine, replace or repair electrical wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, conduits, feeders, assemblies, lighting fixtures and other electrical components
• Test electrical and electronic equipment and components for continuity, current, voltage and resistance
• Conduct preventive maintenance programs and keep maintenance records
• Maintain plant lighting, boilers, the internal fuse system, and energy management
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Must possess a valid 442A Electrician license
• Must possess a minimum of 4 years of experience working in an industrial environment
• Comfortable wearing a respirator mask through duration of shift
• Possess excellent time management and communication skills
• Must be comfortable working rotating shift with potential OT
• Must be able to work weekends and holidays when required
