Our Partner is a fast-paced Third-Party Logistics (3PL) provider with multiple warehouse facilities in the Akron area. To keep operations running smoothly, we’re seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician with strong technical expertise in manufacturing systems.

Position Summary:

This role is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing industrial equipment and systems to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operations. The Industrial Maintenance Technician will play a critical role in minimizing downtime and keeping production and warehouse operations moving.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on industrial equipment, including hydraulic, pneumatic, and conveyor systems.
  • Troubleshoot and repair vacuum and positive displacement systems (highly preferred).
  • Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and control system issues to restore equipment performance.
  • Support process improvements by recommending upgrades, modifications, or replacements.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance logs, work orders, and inspection reports.
  • Collaborate with production, operations, and outside vendors to resolve complex technical issues.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing or logistics environment.
  • Hands-on knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and conveyor systems; experience with vacuum/positive displacement systems a major plus.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
  • Skilled in troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Strong knowledge of preventative maintenance practices and root cause analysis.
  • Forklift experience; electrical or mechanical certifications preferred.
  • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to work independently and under pressure.
