Job Description
Large international corporation is seeking an attorney to join their in-house legal team. Candidates must have a minimum of 10 years’ legal experience in commercial/transactional law, with at least 5 years in the technology sector – ideally with a mix of law firm and in-house experience. Extensive practical experience and knowledge of commercial contract laws and practices within the retail industry and familiarity with privacy law and cybersecurity matters, and how those areas interface with retail businesses is a must. Responsibilities will also include advising executive management on industry legal issues; drafting and negotiating contracts and license agreements; developing contract templates; building a trusted advisor relationship with the business teams; and identifying preventative measures to avoid legal risks, conflicts and issues relevant to the businesses supported. Candidates must have top tier education credentials and a stable and progressive work history.
