Position Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer for an industry-leading technology forward freight booking and management organization.
The Import Supervisor LCB will be responsible for managing import related functions that include import ocean, air & customs brokerage activities. Will help to establish standard operating procedures and ensure conformance to operational metrics. The challenge is to build a world-class team at branch level, motivating, training and leading staff while optimizing costs, increasing revenues and improving profitability.

Background Required:
- International freight forwarding (3+ years)
- Customs brokerage license
- Knowledge of INCO terms, harmonized tariff schedule, customs regulations
- Knowledge of overall US markets (rail, ports & domestic transportation carriers)
- Strong understanding of customs brokerage
- Experience working across global network of offices and agents
- Established standard operating procedures & metrics
- Computer literate: Microsoft Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint, & Outlook
- Residence: greater Miami / Fort Lauderdale, FL
- Staff management, training & team building
- Bi-Lingual: English & Spanish
- Education: Bachelor’s degree
- Excellent communication skills (verbal & written)
- Excellent customer service skills
- Continuous improvement mindset
- Detail oriented
