Position Summary

Our client is hiring an IT Test Lead (Hybrid, Columbus, OH) to manage quality assurance efforts for enterprise systems, including Order Management Systems (OMS), Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), and SAP. This role involves hands-on manual testing, test planning, SQL-based data validation, and leadership of QA team members.

Primary Responsibilities

• Lead and execute manual testing for OMS, WMS, SAP, and integrated applications
• Create and maintain test plans, test cases, and testing documentation
• Provide mentorship, guidance, and quality oversight for QA analysts
• Use SQL to validate data accuracy and support issue analysis
• Manage test execution, track defects, and coordinate testing timelines
• Work with cross-functional teams to clarify requirements and align on test scenarios
• Assist with environment preparation, test data creation, and UAT support
• Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, standards, and tools

Qualifications

• 5–8+ years of QA testing experience, primarily manual testing
• Testing experience with OMS, WMS, and/or SAP platforms
• Basic SQL skills and experience working with relational data structures
• Prior experience as a Test Lead with mentorship responsibilities
• Strong documentation, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Experience in Agile or mixed-methodology project environments
