This is your opportunity to become part of a winning team. We are currently recruiting for an experienced IT Support Technician (Helpdesk).

Job Purpose:

  • Provide assistance to our company and all employees and users on queries logged within the given SLA
  • Queries can range from Hardware, Software all the way to 3rd party services
  • Use MS SQL to investigate more complex queries. If queries are not resolved, it's escalated to or IT department for action
  • Ensure systems remain secure and protection of information is adhered to at all times
  • Provide monthly reports on information security compliance results (data breaches, threats, phishing attacks)
  • Provide Management with immediate reports on staff non-compliance to Information Security requirements

Minimum requirements:

  • Grade 12
  • Minimum A+ and N+ Certification
  • 2 - 3 years’ proven work experience in a similar role
  • Proven ability to Troubleshoot
  • Accounting knowledge (advantageous)
  • Own vehicle and valid drivers license
  • Resident in Pretoria (preferred)
Key Performance Areas (but not limited to):
  • Analyse and perform troubleshoot on all computer systems and perform required repairs and modifications on system and document all upgrade and modifications to system and maintain user information at all times
  • Coordinate with internal IT staff and customers to resolve all technical issues and escalate same if required to ensure smooth business application processes and monitor all administration activities to maintain and reset all passwords and monitor all requests
  • Design and perform various tests on applications according to required standards and perform all disaster recovery activities and perform various tests on all hardware platforms and networks and documents all operating system software
  • Comply with all Information Security Policies, processes and procedures as issued, or updated from time to time
Working hours:
  • Shift work in a 24/7 environment (overtime may be required operationally if needed)
Salary:
  • Market related based on the level of experience
