Our client located in the Mississauga area is looking to hire a full-time Level 1-2 Desktop Support Specialist (this is NOT a remote role)
Work independently (without a team) and manage 50 in-house users by providing end-user technical support
Provide level 1 & 2 troubleshooting expertise with Active Directory password resets, printer issues, Windows 19, hardware, software, applications
Troubleshoot Wi-fi, IP Cameras and 3rd party applications
Escalate issues to vendors when necessary
Technical Requirements and Qualifications:
Previous experience working in a technical support role involving phone, email and remote support troubleshooting.
Previous experience diagnosing issues and resolving issues withlaptops, desktops, hardware, software, operating systems, mobile devices, printers, scanners and email.
Some experience with backups and disaster recovery
Experience with hardware/software and OS installation & troubleshooting
Experience supporting O365 email and other Microsoft products
Vehicle to travel to 2 locations after-hours for support when necessary
