Role Overview:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Operational Technology Specialist to join our team. This semi
entry-level position is ideal for individuals with 2-5 years of experience in operational technology, warehouse
management systems, logistics, or manufacturing environments. The successful candidate will play a crucial role
in maintaining and optimizing our technology infrastructure to ensure seamless operations.

Key Responsibilities:

 Assist in the maintenance and troubleshooting of warehouse management systems (WMS) and other
operational technologies.
 Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve technical issues related to logistics and
manufacturing processes for our Shipping, Production & Maintenance departments.
 Monitor and analyze system performance to ensure optimal functionality and efficiency.
 Provide technical support and hands-on training to staff on the use of technology tools and systems.
 Participate in the development and execution of technology-related projects aimed at improving
operational workflows.
 Troubleshoot and resolve network connectivity issues, ensuring uninterrupted access to critical
resources.
 Maintain accurate documentation of system configurations, processes, and procedures.
 Perform maintenance and troubleshooting of forklift-mounted technology to ensure seamless
operations and minimal downtime between both warehouse locations.
 Coordinate with IT Manager to install, configure, and upgrade computer hardware, software
applications, and peripherals as needed.
 Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in operational technology to recommend
improvements.

Qualifications:

 High school diploma or equivalent; A degree in Information Technology or related field preferred, but
not required.
 Relevant IT certifications are advantageous (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified
Professional).
 A+ certification is extremely preferred.
 2-5 years of experience in operational technology, warehouse management systems, logistics, or
manufacturing environments.
 Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
 Proficiency in using and troubleshooting WMS and other operational technology systems.
 Clear communication skills and the ability to work well with others are vital for collaborating with cross-
functional teams and providing support to staff.
 Flexibility to work autonomously or collaboratively as needed to achieve project goals.
 Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and efficiency.

Preferred Skills:

 Basic electrical and mechanical understanding.
 Experience with network cabling and infrastructure requirements.
 Familiarity with IoT devices and their integration into operational systems.
 Knowledge of cybersecurity practices related to operational technology.
Working Conditions:
 This position involves working in a non-air-conditioned warehouse environment in Texas. Temperatures
can vary significantly in the summer and winter.
