Our client based in Downtown Toronto is looking for an IT Service Manager that has previous experience working in MSP environments.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Work with 20-30 different clients in order to solve their issues and build rapport/ keep relationships positive
  • Manage internal Helpdesk Team so issues are tended to in a timely manner and resolved quickly for clients
  • Be single point of contact for escalated client issues and perform follow-ups regularly with clients to make sure issues are resolved
  • Keep client engaged in a timely manner on status of issues, outages, any changes made
  • Communicate with clients any delivery issues and provide ETA to resolutions.
  • Communicate with clients, other management/ departments and other teams necessary in order to resolve issues
  • Create budget reports based on on-going status of projects
  • Create new documentation/ policies or procedures as necessary and be available to enforce those policies & procedures
  • Make suggestions for improvement within Helpdesk, Service Delivery and Customer Satisfaction
  • Provide suggestions on new services
  • Evaluate Service Desk teams and provide training/coaching/ meetings as necessary for your team to be successful
  • Be up to date on industry standards

Technical Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree in an IT field or Business Administration (certifications are VERY desirable)
  • Previous experience managing Service Desk teams in MSP environments
  • Previous experience managing various client expectations and services in MSP environment
