Job Description

Flybridge Staffing is currently searching for a Security Analyst for a client in the South Florida area. This position will be Hybrid role, with 3 days onsite, 2 days remote. The Information Security Analyst will plan, implement, upgrade, and monitor security protocols for the organizations IT assets. This role will help develop and improve security standards across the organization by identify potential threats and mitigating risks.


  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent with at least 3 years IT experience; 1 of which was specifically focused on an IT information security role.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Proficient, or ability to learn a variety of security software applications and tools.
  • Thorough understanding of computer-related security systems including firewalls, encryption, and password protection and authentication.
  • Experience teaching employees about cybersecurity best practices.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and multi-task / managing multiple projects (or components) simultaneously, comfortable with fast pace and ambiguity.
  • Security Certifications are highly preferred


  • Work with all levels of IT and business teams to design and deploy solutions. Monitor and track daily events, security alerts, and requests submitted from various sources, including users, tools and third parties. Clarify and properly documents all work in ITSM tool in accordance with corporate ITSM change management policies and programs.
  • Accountable for ensuring all assigned security systems are optimized. Develop systems and processes for security best practices throughout the company and prepare reports on security incidents. Maintain and continuously improve the security response plan. Test systems for potential vulnerabilities.
  • Plan, execute, and implement security initiatives across local and cloud infrastructures. Collaborate with internal organizations, analyzing operations, determining project scope, documenting results, costs, and preparing and maintaining vendor contracts.
    • Develop solutions by assessing requirements, studying system capabilities, analyzing, and recommending alternative solutions, preparing roll out plans of new technology.
    • Identify and implements cost saving improvements.
    • Analyze changes in the regulatory area including (ISO 27001, NIST, PCI, and HIPAA)
  • Review violations of security procedures; provide training to ensure violations do not recur. Assist with identifying education opportunities for employees related to cybersecurity best practices.
