IT Sales & Support Specialist – Charleston, SC

Apollo Technical is seeking an IT Sales & Support Specialist in Charleston, SC. This role combines IT sales expertise with hands-on technical support, ensuring clients receive accurate solutions and a positive experience. The position covers local territory management, including Charleston, Myrtle Beach, and surrounding areas, and requires some local travel for client meetings.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities while also working with provided leads.

  • Present IT products and services, build strong client relationships, and prepare proposals, quotes, and contracts.

  • Provide technical support via phone, email, or remote access; troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues; and assist with setup and onboarding.

  • Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and clients to resolve technical or sales-related issues.

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of IT Sales experience.

  • Understanding of IT infrastructure, software, and networking concepts.

  • CRM experience (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar) preferred.

  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills.

  • Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.

  • A+ certification or similar preferred but not required.
