  • Perform the role of Project Manager for one or more teams Leading multiple, simultaneous initiatives or small programs.
  • Lead the development of business, functional, and technical requirements working with both business and technology stakeholders in preparation of user stories, functional specifications, test plans, and other documentation.
  • Facilitate the technology teams and the business teams through quality assurance activities to ensure outcomes are achieved (unit testing, systems integration testing, user acceptance testing)
  • Interact closely with IT and Business teams to communicate status and organize the activities in the initiatives.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Proven track record for successful delivery of projects and working cross functionally with business and information systems/technology.
  • 5+ years of IT Project Management experience, in a software development environment preferably involving cross-team dependencies.
  • Experience with project management, agile, scrum, and/or lean principles.
  • Strong understanding of and experience with Software Development Life Cycles, as well as strong project management skills.
  • Ability to quickly understand the business, facilitate requirements gathering, and communicate the desired outcomes to the technology teams
  • Experience creating and participating in a Business Analyst community of practice to set the standards for business requirements gathering.
  • Ability to analyze and prepare written reports on program and project performance using qualitative analyses, and other project techniques.
  • Ability to remove barriers from production teams (i.e., development, infrastructure, documentation and escalate issues where appropriate).
  • PMP Certification is a PLUS!

Job Type: contract to hire
Pay: $50-$65/hr
