As a fully bilingual organization, our client provides academics and services in both official languages and boasts a bilingual and tenured workforce. They are currently seeking a IT Analyst / Help Desk Specialist to join their growing tech team.

As the IT Analyst, you will be reporting to the Director of IT and act as the main point of contact for all system and network support. You will be responsible for all software installations and repairs. Working with the leadership team, you will be critical in continuous improvements of the network and infrastructure. You will be required to support the internal staff and clients, manage all user accounts and emails, maintain computer equipment inventory and help repair or install technology solutions for on site events and troubleshoot any issues with hardware or software. The IT Analyst will handle the installation, testing and software updates, resolve any outstanding issues, and make recommendations for improvements. Your role will also include managing antivirus systems, backup network connection and disaster recovery. Working within a team, you will help develop and implement proper policies for technology use and help develop any operation procedures and best practices for client delivery. The IT Analyst will be essential to maintaining the ongoing network infrastructure, purchasing of new equipment, and monitoring the performance of systems and backups. Maintaining current on new technologies and systems will be expected and working with end users to help solve problems in a professional and effective manner is needed to offer solutions and recommendations. Finally, you will act as a point of contact for external consultants and be available to users who need a computer resource.

The ideal candidate will have a college diploma in computer science or networking. You will be able to demonstrate a minimum of 3 years installing, configuring and troubleshooting hardware and software problems. Your excellent knowledge of MS Office Suite, Windows and Apple products will be required, Ability to work within the corporate network and Wi-Fi systems, desktop and mobile and knowledge of SCCM is expected. Any knowledge of IT security will be a needed. We are looking for an IT Analyst / Help Desk Analyst with strong communication skills in both English & French. You will bring your strong interpersonal skills and customer service approach to your job. Proven ability to demonstrate strong judgement, work with clients, and bring a methodical and strong attention to detail to your role is imperative. Setting priorities, troubleshooting problems, active listening skills and ability to work within a team environment is requirement. You will be working with people throughout the organization and your patience and communication will be put to the test.
