We're working with an innovative pharmaceutical company based in Barcelona, focused on developing and commercializing high-value hospital and prescription products. With a growing international footprint, we are expanding our Business Development team to accelerate our global licensing-out strategy.

Position Overview

We are seeking an International Area Manager with 2–3 years of experience to support and drive out-licensing activities in B2B environments. The role will focus on identifying, evaluating, and executing partnership opportunities across Europe, Middle East, and North Africa (EMEA), with final regional scope aligned to the candidate’s experience.

This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and commercially driven professional looking to grow within an international pharmaceutical environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and evaluate potential partners (pharma, biotech, distributors) for out-licensing opportunities
  • Support the execution of the licensing-out strategy, including territory prioritization and partner mapping
  • Build and manage relationships with international partners across assigned regions (Europe, Middle East, North Africa)
  • Prepare and deliver commercial proposals, presentations, and product pitches
  • Participate in negotiations of licensing agreements (with senior team support)
  • Conduct market research, competitive intelligence, and opportunity assessments
  • Represent the company at international conferences, partnering events, and industry meetings
  • Coordinate cross-functionally with regulatory, medical, legal, and supply teams to support deal execution
  • Maintain CRM tools and ensure accurate tracking of BD activities and pipeline

Candidate Profile

  • 2–3 years of experience in International Sales within the pharmaceutical or biotech industry
  • Strong understanding of B2B pharma environments, ideally in hospital and/or prescription products
  • Exposure to international markets is highly valued
  • Basic knowledge of licensing processes and partnership structures
  • Fluency in English and French is required; additional languages are a plus.
