Our client in the Financial Services / Capital Markets sector is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced IM Support Resource.

Contract Duration: 6 months
Monthly Remuneration: TT$7,885.00
Employment Type: Temporary Contract

Job Summary:

Our client is seeking a reliable and customer-focused IM Support Resource to provide first-level Information Management/ICT support to employees and assist with day-to-day technology operations.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Providing first-level support for routine hardware, software, connectivity, and user issues.
  • Preparing and configuring laptops, desktops, mobile devices, and other ICT equipment.
  • Assisting with technology requirements for employee onboarding and offboarding.
  • Supporting users with standard applications and basic access-related requests.
  • Recording, updating, and following up on incidents and service requests.
  • Assisting with ICT equipment inventory, deployment, reassignment, and basic troubleshooting.
  • Supporting software installations, updates, and equipment replacements.
  • Assisting with vendor follow-ups, quotations, and ICT procurement activities.
  • Providing support during system upgrades, deployments, testing, and other IM projects.
  • Performing other general IM support duties as required.

Job Qualifications and experience:

  • A diploma, certificate, or relevant qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in an IT Help Desk, Service Desk, Technical Support, or IT Support environment.
  • Good knowledge of computer hardware, software, networking, and common business applications.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • The ability to manage multiple support requests and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Good documentation and organizational skills.
  • The ability to work independently while also functioning effectively as part of a team.
